Hail damage!

Postby KC Saayman » Mon Oct 22, 2012 6:48 am

Good morning all

My Bentley S1 was unfortunately caught in the hail storm that hit the Eastern suburbs on Saturday. I was driving the car in the Germiston area when the storm hit

The car has dents on all the panels except two, but fortunately no windows were broken. As this car has a mixture of steel and aluminum body panels I have to find a specialist repair shop that has experience, especially with working on aluminum body panels. Do any of you perhaps know someone suitable who I can ask to quote on the work?

Cheers

Hi John

Thank you very much. It looks like I have found my man. I went for a bike ride with a few fellow classic car fanatics on Sunday and one of them suggested a place in Malvern. I took the Bentley there for a quotation, and my first impressions are that they are exactly what I was looking for. It is a father and son business, and they are classic car owners themselves. They appear to specialize in classic British cars.

I am just waiting for the insurance assessor to give me the go-ahead. I will let you know how this turns out. Hopefully I can get my Bentley repaired before the end of the year.

Cheers
